Al-Munir LLC is a Newark-based, boutique, education consulting firm founded in 2016. Al-Munir prides itself in providing unique services that include: childrens’ educational programming, youth initiatives and creative placemaking, as well as marketing, and consulting services to local government, schools, and grassroots organizations.
As a Newark educators Bilal understands the importance of accessibility to resources and exposure to lessons both inside and outside of the classroom. As a social studies teacher, dean, and program director of two culturally relevant programs within a school setting, Bilal has mastered the skill of student engagement and creative placemaking, while equally coaching students on important life skills.
Some of our notable partners include: Environmental Protection Agency, La Casa De Don Pedro, Anibal Ramos Civic Association, Newark Community Health Center, Newark Science and Sustainability, Skopos Hospitality Group, and New Jersey Children’s Foundation. The Team’s specific services to achieve this goal include designing frameworks of engagement with locals, rolling out professional development sessions on inclusion and diversity, and providing K-12 civic engagement and social studies education.
